Can We Be Free?

Will those be able to have the impedimenta they set their hearts on?

Wander off into the dusk of day and remain unseen until they desire?

All their lives they endeavored remaining enclosed, but no matter how austere they conceal, they are always perceived.

What is the feeling like to be free? Free from people, free from false guidelines. Just be able to try preposterous purposes that others do, yet, amongst us it cannot be fulfilled.

I fear we will never be able to close our eyes and fly a million miles away, If only we could spread our wings and fly at our desired moment but the conscience takes its toll and stains the mind.

Are we free to believe our hidden joys that keep us alive, will come true on one profound day or be kept concealed until there is nothing left to dream of?

What are some of your views on having your wishes fulfilled? Can it be or are some of us bound to be kept locked up? Everyone has different hopes and we cannot forget dreams. Hopefully in due time, no matter how hard it seems they will come true.

I hope you enjoy reading my post!

Wow this is brilliant! You really highlighted aspects of freedom that really make us think, and some things I didn’t even think of before! Your post reminded me very much of the Matrix movie, when Neo is presented with which pill he should take. As you say can we really be free? X

Thank you so much for thinking so. A lot of things occur in our lives that make us blind to what actually we should be paying attention too, what truly matters. I must watch the Matrix once again now, I did not even notice the similarity between my post and the movie.
